I've had a break for about three months. I was pretty tired of the game and how things were working, so I needed to take a break. Now I'm back again, and there was a few changes in 9.1.5 that felt refreshing. The best part is that you can now freely swap covenant, and you can buy an item that increases your covenant renown to 40.
So I first leveled up my current convenant (for Ulveblomst), night fae, to 80. Then switched to Kyrian, just to take a sneek peak at the covenant. It is the only covenant I haven't tried out yet. Then switched to venthyr. Just to try it out, and to gather mounts and transmogs. Venthyr balance druids are supposed to be the best. But I'm not sure I will like the playstyle, since all damage are tied to a 3 min cooldown. And you do very little damage outside the cooldowns. I have never liked long cooldown based playstyles (for instance destruction warlock). I have played through the venthyr campaign. It went really fast. With insta flight form and an overgeared character.
Other cool things that have happened is that conduit energy is gone. That means that I can actually play all my four druid specs. And we got some new travel forms! For flying, we have two new bat forms, two butterfly forms and two raven forms. Super fantastic! For ground travel form, we got two new stags. I'm not that into stags, so a tiny bit disappointed. But mostly happy. And there are glyphs that gives you a random form when you change into cat, bear, flying or travel form. That is super fun! It makes me actually use all the forms I've collected. For cat and bear form it is excellent. But for flight form, there are quite a few ugly and some low polygons forms that I would like to avoid using.
The healing spots seems to have been taken, so I'm focusing at balance atm. Haven't really played much balance since 9.0. Since I didn't like the changes in 9.1. But now I'm starting to getting used to them.
I attended the raid again, and it was actually very fun. Even though I didn't really miss the game, I missed playing with the guild people. The guild are currently working on getting Sylvanas heroic down. I haven't played balance in the raid at all, so it was very refreshing to do something new. But I need to do some more research and testing to find out which talents to use for the different fights and such. And I am not totally up to date with all the mechanics. Most of the heroic fights I've only seen a couple of times with pugs. And that was three months ago. Think I even caused us one wipe on the raid night.
And now to the mounts!
New mounts
Sunwarmed furline
This mount may actually be part of the reason that I went back to wow. It is a store mount that I saw advertisments for in my inbox. I just had to have it. No way I'm not gonna buy this sweet kitty. I recently got a new kitten, and I'm convinced that they are of the same breed (Maine coon). This was fate telling me to get back to wow.
Gloomcharger
I was shocked when I saw this. I actually got the paragon mount from venari reputation. It is sooo cool! I wanted this for ages!
Sinfall Gravewing
Got this for getting to 45 Venthyr renown. Pretty cool!
Autumnal wilderling
Got this one for getting to 70 renown with Night Fae. A recolor of two mounts I already have, so not the most exciting one to get. Even though it looks nice.
Eternal phalynx of purity
Got this from joining the Kyrian convenant.
