Finally I am enjoying classic too! Almost all my friends are mostly playing classic now, so I felt lonely in BFA, and being sad for not liking classic. After going out of mana all the time, and dying to trivial stuff alone, my husband joined me! That made it so much nicer to play! I finally had a good time! We go as warrior and druid, so we can go tank and healer later. When we first played vanilla in the old days, we went rogue and warlock, but couldn't really do anything. So in TBC we went warrior (tank) and druid (healer), and it was so much better!
I was a bit worried about playing druid, since it says in the guides that classic druids are the jack of all trades, but master of none. But I don't plan to do much end content, so I think it will be fine anyway. Druid will probably be a good leveling class.
It was more fun to play in the night elf starting zone, than the human one. And it is very nostalgic being a druid again. With a green wrath spell, and I have the old bear form. Shapshifting costs mana, and I can't talk to npcs while shapeshifted!
Something I don't miss is the drop quests. Some of them are really horrible. And everything is sooo much slower. It takes for instance ages just to pick a flower. And when you pick it you risk failing to pick it up, so you must try again!
