Did not take a vault screenshot as it only had two options, a bad trinket and a bad ring. Took the bad trinket (Mrrgria's Favor) as it was a 26 iLevel upgrade over another bad trinket.

Gearing
Used all my saved up valor to upgrade my gear on reset day. So now all pieces are 288+ except the bracers and belt. Spiking my overall iLevel from 281 to 292. Should be the only week with a major gear spike, while the rest of the season should be fairly incremental.
I got a belt drop (288 with mastery) that I changed into another belt (no mastery!) with the catalyst.
All that remains now is to upgrade everything to 298 with valor. I got a 262 good trinket from m+, but that will cost 4400 valor to upgrade to 298. But that means I can get away with just doing another 3 raids and no LFR to get the Heroic Stone Legion trinket or First Sigil and drop raids on this character.
Season valor earned is now 16 710. Saved valor is now 1260.
Current keys run on Esmënet: 85
Week 1: 39 (35 timed - 2 depletes - 2 not finished)
Week 2: 10 (9 timed - 1 deplete - 0 not finished)
Week 3: 7 (5 timed - 0 depletes - 2 not finished)
Week 4: 30 (27 timed - 2 deplete - 1 not finished)
A short note on guild groups
One thing that is kinda hard to not compare is guild/community groups with my new grazing grounds and the old.
TH guild groups were better performing for the most part, and there was usually one going every night. And there were people not in guild groups that did a bunch of keys too. And with a lot of playtime comes both gear and experience. Obviously if you ended up outside the guild group things got iffy.
HoSG guild groups are far fewer in between. And often have a community reinforcement, or pugs. People are generally less geared and except for a couple of people gear and experience is much lower. So obviously results are "worse".
Guild groups will prolly never be a source of high m+ keys in this state or anything... But that's fine. It's way more casual and without any kind of fomo or competitive drive and having a pass into the one group that happens in the guild when its not a new expansion.
Score is lower, mental is higher.
A short note on "recap goals" from after last season
I had these goals after last recap, and this is how they are going:
Play less than 300 dungeons.
Currently have 81 RIO counting dungeons on Esmënet. 9 on Wutteät. 1 on Ihnanna. 13 on Dominator. 104 in total, so max 195 left. So going to have to decide at some point how to split that, having done about a third of the supposed amount so far.
Play less than 10 specs.
Have currently played 4 specs: Beast Mastery Hunter, Vengeance Demon Hunter, Mistweaver Monk and Protection Paladin. So can afford slipping and testing some spec still.
Have a least someone be in more than 10% of my runs, ideally someone from HoSG or Ulve if she plays a lot.
I have failed to track this in any good way so far, so had to look this up:
Esmënet: 6 SaeRae, 4 KaSh, 2 NaSy.
Dominator: 3 SaeRae
Wutteät: 1 Rae
Ihnanna: 0
So at the moment the SaeRae combo is fairly close to the goal. KaSh would take the next two spots, while a pug hunter would take the fifth spot at the moment. Doing less weekday keys would sort this out without needing to pay attention, as weekends usually has some kind of guild/community run going.
If it isn't obvious, people tend to come in pairs in this guild/community :)
A smoother rio growth. Not the quick rush into stagnation.
So far growth has been slower than previous seasons, but a bit more constant except this week which spiked a bit too much.
Getting constant growth after this and next reset is going to the real slugger, and the payoff for not just rushing however. Even if its just a constant 10-20 score a week. There's room for growth, without it being a head into brick wall situation.
Not end up in any drama that upsets the stats :)
So far so good.
