Jailor curve and bad dungeons

Writer's picture: RutheRuthe

We got the Jailor down on heroic on sunday. We had struggled a bit with the bosses before, especially Anduin. He is really hard to heal. We only had two more sundays to get this (since the season is ending soon), so by the time we were here he had been nerfed really hard. He went down on two half raid evenings. Easiest end boss I have ever healed. And I hadn't even done him on normal (or lfr).

The curve mount was a bit cooler than I expected. I am not super fan of mechanical mounts, but this was somehow appealing, and it looked even cooler when flying.

Killing the Jailor for the first time
After killing heroic Jailor with the guild
Then we killed Lords of Dread again
...and Rygelon

I did a couple of keys with the guild yesterday. I had one of those days when I think "Wow, I'm a really bad healer. Maybe I should DPS next season.". First we did mists 15, and didn't even time it. It was fortified, explosives and raging. When an explosive goes off, it's really hard to catch up on the healing. I tried to take explosives, dispel raging on the difficult mobs, and heal at the same time. It was super stressful. Especially on the first packs of (fortified and raging) mobs. The only other ranged in the group was a demo warlock which have trouble killing orbs without procs. Looked at the meters, and only 10 explosives got off, but some of them were bad.

Next dungeon we did De Other Side. That also went bad, but at least we did time it. When we did the big, red guy, we didn't CC. He got two of those bad casts out, and when the second one came, he was enranged. I did not have time to remove the rage, and didn't have enough cooldowns for the heals. The rest of the dungeon I was psyched out, stood in shit and got killed by ghosts. I said something about needing to read bedtime stories for he kids to avoid joining another key. And that was the end of season 3. Yay.
