Tonight we had our last guild run in Castle Nathria. I have pugged the last boss, but never killed him (on heroic) with the guild. Even though I have many hours on him with the guild. Trying to get him down for four hours in a row is just a bit much for me, I think I have over 120 wipes on him with the guild. They did get him down once, when I was not there. I will not miss this fight. Thankfully, the raid leaders realized that we would not get him down today either, so the two last hours of the raid was an alt run. I give everything I have on each pull, so in the end my head is just not working.
I did two fights as balance, two fights as resto, the denathrius wipes as resto, and the alt run as affliction (with one destro pull). Affliction it is as I remember. Ok on single target, horrible on anything else. So I realized that I will not play affliction next tier. The rotation is so busy that I can't fit in everything I want. It is such a mess. I tried one pull as destro, but I don't really wanna play destro. Before this run, I was actually preparing to switch Ruthe to Night Fae since that is the only good covenant for affliction. But now I'm not sure I will bother.
Right now the game is actually not fun. I think I play mostly because I don't have anything better to do, and that I feel I have to keep playing to keep my character up to date. Realizing/remembering that affliction is crap to play made me loose the last drop of hope for this tier. There are hardy any people online in the guild. It's like the start of BFA for me. I remember the guild breaking apart after Uldir. The last boss there was terrible and made people want to quit the game. I was hoping that Shadowlands would be better than BFA, but right now I'm not sure it is.

After grinding this every day since FOREVER, I gave up. Since I was thinking of moving to Night Fae, this was my last chance. In the end I just spent the anima to get it.
I'm going to uninstall the game now, hoping that I will manage to stay away from it for a while.
