Slowly but surely my frustration with pug tanks took over, and started doing mostly valor runs since I had the odd stuff to upgrade and the SL dungeon event. Somehow prot pala feels a bit lackluster, but habits die hard. I meant to try to establish as a +10 doer, but that has not happened since I had a long key break again on this so not going anywhere fast.

Just like Wutteät, this character is now considered done for the season. I had constant issues with wildly variable dps in keys, but that got a lot better with the Windspeaker legendary instead. Lower dps with a tank that pulls for uncapped aoe and keeps the pull in place, but higher for the normal thing of pulling a couple of mobs and kite them around for no reason. I was considering trying to get higher RIO on this than main, and get 10/10 HC too, but pugging progress stuff is not that appetizing by myself.

Took over as the main alt since I was done with Stormlufser. Got one guild group that did 4 dungeons (including a 14 done) last reset, and managed to consistently get into 10 or higher keys since. Comparing overall dps for a dungeon in a pug is a really bad way to compare alts, but I am fairly certain Esmënet does better dps on all the difficult pulls AND has highest overall for most dungeons for most affix sets compared to Stormlufser. Unless the tank pulls around the shaman. Having the right covenant and all helps too. So have considered marathoning a couple of nights for score this reset and the one 4 resets from now (quacking - sanguine) if 9.1 hasn't appeared yet. But *might* require having guild groups several weeks to have multiple 15s timed and over 220 ilevel to get invited. Going to go out on a limb and just assume I will play this in dungeons in 9.1 no matter if I raid or not, so might aswell try to pick up Engineering for the cres.

I had a hankering to play mage again once I was on the alt train, but as I said in the main choice post, the frost mage aggro bug when in struggling fortified pugs is a big hassle. Nobody seems to know what is happening so never get flamed for it but not really the point. One of those weird "should play on tyrannical weeks and raid" cases. Haven't actually gotten any score since what, february until this reset.

Since my usual routine of level up and gear with sl dungeon event/bg event was finally broken, I did the routine with this character instead to finally not it be odd alt out. I am getting REALLY tired of going through the covenant campaign stuff at this point, even if its just 2 hours or so. And keys kinda feels like BFA before prepatch still, except the covenant power for Kyrian is way more clunky than the essence stuff. LFR felt a lot more promising, so trying to get into normal CN raids might be a better idea than doing keys. We shall see. Since I actually was top dps in one dungeon, I considered just shelfing the character after that...
Serwaswathan

Status
Level: 46
Spec: Arcane
Leveling Path: BFA
If puging progress keys is annoying, leveling through bfa dungeons has proven to be even worse. I think the complete % is now under 50%.. And with a queue time that is often around 10 minutes for a random bfa leveling dungeon, this has proven to be the hardest part of the expansion so far, to bother with alts.

Goals from last time
-Still need 2 signatures for the antisocial guild... (This goal is starting to be dusty...) [Not completed]

-Level up Serwaswathan to 60. [Way off target]
Goals for next time
-Still need 2 signatures for the antisocial guild...
-Try to establish Esmënet as a +14 doer.
-Sort out professions.
-Stockpile runes and potions.
Dungeon run of the week
Halls of Atonement +10 (pug)

As a bit of case in point of how lenient +10s are... The tank didn't think of the route at all, meaning no pride for any boss. The other hunter dced or afked or something just after first boss. The tank and shaman did not do any mechanics all dungeon. Group dps was pretty low. But in the end, we ended up wiping multiple times on last boss because the tank flat out refused to do the mechanic in spite of 3 people telling them how it worked, claiming none of us bothered to use defensives. All they had to do was soak one beam on last boss and it would have been timed in spite of it all. But no. The only response was to NOT change what they did instead was just be toxic.
I would say this would be typical pug stuff, but typical pug stuff would be for everyone to quit once the other hunter was gone. And while getting keys done for vault is the most important part for me, I am at a loss how anyone can just sit in LFG to get keys done. The amount of sheer time waste seems so brutal? The amount of keys done with the entire group being close to each other in both game knowledge and personality match seems close to zero. And in those runs, reality will most likely have someone DC to not let you time the thing anyway.
At least it cured my complete burnout on organising stuff, so have already tried to be more proactive when playing again. Mostly because of this run; the rest because of the Halls +10 I had done a couple of hours earlier with almost the exact same outcome.
