My thoughts on Dragonflight

Inspired by Ruthe's post, here are my thoughts on Dragonflight.
I'm excited for:
Professions. I like crafting in a lot of games, but WoW has been bad for ages.
Talent trees. Adds variation to endgame play, and for leveling alts.
Dragonriding. I wanna try to mess about with this a lot.
New dungeons.
All the subsystems being gone.
I'm not excited for:
The hamster wheel. I'm just so tired of playing the reset the game.
Groupmaking. I'm just so tired of trying to fix groups.
8 dungeon m+ seasons. All 8 new + 4 old would be better.
More complicated loot spread. Still the boring loot, but spend more time making getting the proper ilevel more complex.
The opening rush. I dislike being "behind" people I would play with. And after I joined TH, all my old WoW friends are now... a whisper on the wind. Everyone I now know is gonna rush.
All the early bugs and badly tuned stuff needing fixes.
The fact the actual season starts just before christmas.
While I am looking forward to the actual game bits a lot, I am not looking forward to the logistics and everything surrounding it.
Currently I am considering just skipping the expansion and wait until january to play. Or just skip the entire thing.
Also considering a reset of sorts. The Fighting Mongooses crew I no longer have contact with at all. I am not playing with Twilight Hope people. The people in HoSG I played with have left and/or have ambitions. And I am...a bit miffed about it all. So for example playing on another account, without all the built up drama and complexity or trying to measure where I am in the grind to people I might play with seems tempting.
Here's my obligatory post picture. Live ptr, sorry prepatch, bugs at it's finest. We were going to 2 chest the 20 upper, but then the last boss bugged out twice on second platform and we ended up with this:
