The wow-week is almost over, and I have mained my evoker for one week.
Lavabloom this week
Was created!
Got to level 60
Got two legendaries
Did the venthyr campaign (to get the mail venthyr transmog)
Did a bit of Torghast
Did 10 raid bosses, most of them as preservation
Did a few Uldaman runs, both as perservation and devestation
Keys as devestation
13** Upper Karazhan
15 Streets
9** Streets
11** Workshop
5*** Workshop
8** Grimrail
2*** Iron docs
The experience
Super fun to do something new
Feels good being a dragon. The visage form is nice too.
Glide ability is awesome
Hover is super nice, but that extra dash can get me into trouble
Healing raids felt very chaotic.
Healing dungeons (did only low content) felt good
Very easy to do damage as preservation
Doing keys as devestation was super fun, but felt very squishy
Starting to know my damaging spells, but need to learn how to use the utility spells too
Have only played with the starter build for preservation, so need to try out some new talents there
I forgot to use deep breath (2 min cooldown), so had to create a weakaura for it
Being a close ranged that need special position and has a long casting time is not the best on storming week
I was afraid that the empowered spells would feel slow, but they feel good to press and feel powerful.
I need to learn how to use my movement abilities better. Have for instance not tried rescue yet. that might have saved us on the mail boss in tazavesh
Miss battle res
Conclusion: I like both specs, and the class fantasy. I have tested it enough to dare to try to main it in season 1 of Dragonflight.
