Prepatch day 3 - Resto, destruction and affliction in dungeons

Today we started out with a TD 12 with the guild. I was healing, using feral affinity and heart of the wild. I went with Tendricula since she is my best geared healer, and this was my first dungeon healing after the class changes. Tbh, healing felt almost exactly as before. There were two things that felt different. The first one was that swiftmend now requires a hot to be on the target before use. So it can't be used as an emergency heal for people without any of your hots on. I didn't really like the change. The other thing was that, when in cat form, I looked cool! I can now use my cool cat forms even as resto druid! Yay!

Then we did a +9 WM with the guild. I used Ruthe, and tried out destruction. Destruction is kind of broken on larger pulls. Because of the insane shard generation and infernal cooldown reduction because of azerite traits. It was SO much easier to play than affliction. In big aoe situations i just spammed rain of fire. In a later pug in freehold, I counted that I put down 14 rain of fires in a row only delayed by the global cooldown. Does it feel fun? I don't know. It feels very strange. But I still have the same problem as before, not dealing much damage outside of the cooldowns.

After that we didn't have enough people for more groups. So I pugged a Workship 6 as affliction, Freehold 13 as destruction and ended with a Kings Rest 10 as affliction. Compared to destruction, to do AOE with affliction I have to put up as many dots as possible on all mobs, and then spam rapture.

Now I've tested all the specs I may potentially main in Shadowlands. I know I'm going to choose druid or warlock. I'm thinking of affliction because I like the spec very much, and it is always a safe choice in raids. I don't like destruction, but can play it in dungeons if affliction is not viable there.
I liked the new balance too, and being a druid is just so convenient. You are fast, can stealth, insta travel form etc. And if I go balance, I might be able to heal a dungeon or two. I often have to pug with my dpses, but are (almost) always wanted as healer for guild runs. I like resto druid too. But I have some problems with it. When people are low/dying I panic, and get very stressed. When I'm stressed I do stupid things and get very tired. It would also have to be my off spec, since we only need dpses for raiding.
