My vacation has started, and I have been able to calm down a bit, and actually enjoy the game. Lots of stuff has happened. There was a hostile takeover in our guild, Twilight Hope. I didn't want to be there after that, so we checked out other guilds. Me, Ulio and Wind got invited to a Norwegian guild from some friends of Ulio. It is called Mannen i gata, and so far I do enojoy it there. They are not a very serious guild, which suites me well. I have raided with them twice, and they are serious enough when it counts.
When it comes to dungeons, I've been doing them with some different groups. I've done some lower ones with Dom, Tara, Wind and a guy from the guild. I have done some higher ones with Dom and some of his friends. That was super fun! We did ok on 8s, and struggle a bit with a 10. And I even did one with some old friends from my old horde guild, Dark Nation. We did first a 6 that went fine, and then tried a 10, but saw pretty quickly that we wouldn't be able to complete it.
I've been playing preservation evoker on everything else than when soloing. I love the spec! Right now, I get better for each dungeon and raid, and it feels really good. I do have some issues when it comes to range on certain encounters, but overall I think I might be able to do ok with it the whole season. My first raid was pretty bad. I got two grey parses. My second raid I got everything from green to orange parses (was a bit lucky with my given task on the orange one). On that raid there were two really strong healers, one healer that was around my hps, and one that was a bit undergeared. I didn't feel as a complete noob like I did on the first one.
This week will be a nightmare to heal m+. It is both bursting and grievous. Have no idea how I will handle that as an evoker, but I'll do my best. If I still want to play evoker after this week, I think my class for the season (and maybe expansion?) is set!
