5 days to the Shadowlands release. I have finally landed on what to play. I will probably jump back and forth between these two characters and their specs. For the first time, I am going to start on the alliance side.
This is my starting point:
Ruthe
My main character
Main spec: Affliction
I will use affliction for raiding and doing high dungeons
Off spec: Destruction
I will be destruction when burst damage is needed, like in low dungeons or raids that require burst aoe. I might also consider going destro for two target cleave fights.
Covenant: Kyrian
Kyrian has the best damage ability for both destro and affliction right now. It works in both single and multiple target. If I had chosen by the class fantasy and aesthetic, I would have gone venthyr. Thank the old gods that the old undead Ruthe didn't know that she was going to be an alliance elven angel warlock...
Ulveblomst
My alt character
Specs: Balance and restoration
Ulveblomst will start out as my alt, that will be balance or restoration depending on which spec is needed to get a group going. I will do single player content as balance.
Covenant: Night Fae
Thankfully, the night fae covenant is currently best for restoration druids. Even though it is not the best for balance, class fantasy wins this one.
