Wutteät, 11 Weeks into Season 1

This week was pretty much like last week in that I skipped alts, and just tried to get into every guild m+ group that went somewhere since it was what I would call good affixes. Which usually means fast runs, but puts a lot of strain on the healer...
m+ goals:

Like expected, the payoff from playing a fair amount was right. 105 RIO in one week might not be the best one this season, but considering we timed 3 15s (Mists, Halls and Sanguine) to get us halfway through the KSM requirements it's hard to compete. Adding to that, it felt like the 14 Plaguefall we did also had stuff we did that could be avoided, and when we had issues healer ran out of mana which caused the major hedaches; which wouldnt have happened another week with other affixes. To top it all off we finally timed a TOP 13 in some random guild group put together - which lifted the curse of not having timed that place in a very long time. So good week overall.

The affixes were Fortified, Sanguine, Grievous. Which was a nice change from what MDT had listed from the beginning for this week; Fortified, Bolstering, Necrotic. I dont mind sanguine that much this expansion, since its on a 20 sec timer and there are far fewer places where it's tight corridors and heaps of mobs that drops pools. Grievous seems to be the most mana intensive affix this expansion, especially on higher keys Pride + Grievous makes the healer burn through mana so fast - so if starting at low mana and/or with grievous stacks from a trash pull leading into it it's the Pride that is actually the hard part of most pulls on 14-15 it looks like. If the healer gets sniped with the bolts its pretty much game over too. But its certainly playable and could mostl likely have done DOS, PF and NW on 15 if we had played with the same group from monday night on tuesday night. But it was not to be.
Played with a bunch of different groups of people that managed to time 14s this week (except TOP 14), so getting 4 14s for vault at least even on bad weeks as same people should be able to time 13s then to get the 14s is no longer a concern if it ends up being really hard to get the more consistent groupings going 1-2 nights a week.
I didn't do any keys as Havoc last week I think, in spite of being grouped with several who are main spec tanks. So might have hated the affixes on that, not sure.
Raid goals:

I returned to raiding this week after taking a break last week, and motivation wasn't all that. But the previously killed bosses was fine and went down fast. Sludge took a few attempts, and of course my chain partner lagged out on pull so I was dead like 99% of the time on my first sludge kill. Then I got Erupt and was way off when the knockback happened on Generals and was knocked off the platform, so I was dead for that kill too. "Luckily" Sire Denathrius proved to hard to kill to be killed when I was dead most of the fight again. Tried with both the normal strat, changed stack strat and then trying to cheese phase 1 none of which worked. Seemed like it required more thought than the other fights; like everyone just went DAKKA DAKKA on the first adds spawned, after the first third of the room was filled it kinda looked like nobody had stuff left in the tank so I was top dps on every wipe which was a bit odd. But being top dps on wipes isnt really much to be proud of...
With just one boss left in the raid I guess I'll just stick it out until it's dead and then think about the rest of the season and the next one. I don't care about the Curve achievement, and if raiding is supposed to be dead when it comes to loot and the guild has lots of raiders - just going through normal and then stopping just seems like the best idea.
Soft Goals

I did Torghast again this week, mostly since it looks like they are trying to pump up the quality of the legendary items that are not picked. So having Soul Ash capped for 9.0.5 release might be useful... And if none of them seem relevant after the patch anyway, can just stay capped until 9.1.
Managed to upgrade all conduits to 213 and one to 226; the one I got at 226 is one I will never use of course. Will most likely take over 2 weeks to get to the rep needed to buy sockets, so should have most if not all conduits at 226 by that time.
When it came to gear it was a mixed week. For the first time in weeks I actually got drops from both raid and dungeons; I replaced a helm with worst stats at 203 ilevel to a 207 ilevel hat with best stats ( was traded to me), got the totem trinket from DOS and the slime generating one from PF at 207 and rounded it off with the Hateful Chain from Sludgefist. So that was nice. But the vault was another "cloaks and belts" week, ended up taking a 226 cloak which was a 3 ilevel upgrade but eh. Still having a low ilevel hat, chest and legs and never even getting the option to take a bad one for... 11 weeks, most of the time with 3 options. 3 options are better than 1 still, but at this point I have given up on the shadowlands loot as a whole. I had hopes for valor given that the pvp gear system is so well structured, but it seems they just wanted to make a really bad version of it and then have people refarm the items they want to upgrade this season. After releasing the system over 3 months in and most people starting to burn out...
Renown 34; I am now capped on souls without the anima to upgrade anything. Yeah I dont think I am doing this whole covenant thing right....

So this week in m+ will have tyrannical/raging/quacking. As usual, it's somewhat hard to gouge if we will do good or not since tyrannical week progress dungeons are fine to time as long as you don't wipe on any bosses... And as it were, we miss timing the 4 keys that are more annoying on tyrannical than the others. So just getting some vault options and if we can get some 15s to practice on, perhaps a 14 TOP timed as the most plausible source of score seems to be the most realistic idea. And farm a humongous amount of consumables for the next reset when the best week on the calendar returns.
In the raid, I highly doubt we are gonna kill Sire; getting through P1 consistently after another 2-3 hour reclear of the rest of the raid should be enough of a goal.
To get a gear upgrade, need to luck out on vault until 9.0.5. Another week of just hoping for weapon/head/chest/legs only to get more cloaks I assume, but perhaps it will be perfect time for the big push week!
